Pastoral Testimonials
May
God bless you, your families and may He give you strength
in your everyday work.
My name is Virgilio Sanchez
Carcamo , and I am married to Cristina Amparo.
I have six children, and Proyecto Aldea Global's Pastoral
Program has been a great support for my daughter Gladis
Emelina Sanchez, who studies in the Instituto Hondureño
de Educación por Radio (IHER).
Gladis is now in 8 th grade and the
support we have received from this organization has
been of great importance to us because it has allowed
us to buy the materials that she needs for school and
helps pay for the transportation. |
 |
Gladis suffered an accident that nearly left
her invalid and which has affected her self esteem a great
deal. Since she has been in the program we have noticed many
changes. She tells us now that since she has joined the program
she has made many new friends that have helped her, and I
have witnessed it. Thank God that she is succeeding to overcome
the depression that she has been going through.
We as a family have had a hard time since
my daughter was left in a wheel chair, but we put our problems
in prayer and in the hands of God and little by little He
showed us his love. Thanks to HIM she has gotten up from her
chair and is walking now, with still a little difficulty,
but we know "That HE who begins a good work will
be faithful to finish it."
On my and my families behalf I can only give
thanks for this great support that you have given us.
God bless you!
Thank you!

May our
Lord Jesus bless you and give you strength to keep going.
My name is Gladis Emelina Sanchez
. I study in the Instituto Hondureño
de Educación por Radio (IHER). I live with my
two parents and 5 other siblings.
I joined the Pastoral scholarship program
this year and thanks to the support I have been able
to pay for my studies. Aside from the economical support
I have made many new friends through the program. The
people who support me through Proyecto Aldea Global
mean a lot to me because the Pastoral Program has helped
me better myself emotionally. |

On February 7, 2002 I happened to
be outside my house while, unknown to me, there was
a police operation at hand. There was an exchange of
bullets between the police and the delinquents where
to my misfortune one of the bullets penetrated my abdomen,
directly affecting my small intestine, bladder and spine.
When I got to the hospital I was taken
immediately into the operating room. Afterwards I could
only eat through an IV and had to use a catheter. The
diagnoses of the doctors were that I would never walk
again and that I would always be in a wheel chair. |
I wanted to die, I was devastated, my self
esteem hit rock bottom, but my parent's faith never broke,
they became even closer to GOD asking Him to give me a miracle.
I started a long process of therapy at the
TELETON rehabilitation center. My mom put a lot of energy
into taking me since I couldn't walk and my house is a bit
far from the bus stop. Now I can walk with the help of a device
that they installed in my legs. The doctors said that it would
be impossible for me to walk again, but I now know that GOD
has granted me a miracle. God is a specialist in doing the
impossible.
I wish I could share my entire testimony with
you, but it would be very long. I would like to give God all
the thanks for allowing me to live, and than thank you for
helping me with recuperation.
God bless you!
Thank you!

God bless you,
I am Juan Marcos Ocón. I am a
scholarship recipient of Aldea Global-Flor del Campo,
I am 14 years old. Through this program I have obtained
many services that benefited me spiritually and personally.
On May 26 and 27 of this year I had
the opportunity, thanks to your donations, to join a
seminar led by the international speakers MARCOS WITT
and JUAN VEREECKEN. The seminar was titled: "The
17 laws of team work". Seminars like this have
been very useful to me because I have been able to learn
many things I didn't know. |
 |
One of the many things that I
have learned is that we have to be willing to accept the work
that God has given us.
I have also learned what kind of leader I
should be. I should affirm and motivate people.
Of the 17 laws that we have been taught the
one that impacted me the most was "The Catalyst Law”,
where you motivate the leader to be a positive person and
strive to make the members of the team be in a happy environment.
What I have learned I am putting to practice,
in church and in the scholarship program. Again I thank you;
it is because of you that I am receiving these blessings that
are making me grow spiritually and emotionally.
I would like to conclude asking you not to
give up on the growth of this program; it is of great help
for all of us who are participating. If we didn’t have
this support most of us would not be able to study due to
the poverty of our families.
God Bless
Thank You!
